Contents of the Case (What's in the Box):

omnee

These components provide the essential elements for assembling your speaker stand. Make use of the included items to ensure a secure and stable setup for your omnee.m Speaker.

Getting Started

Unpacking

The packaging is carefully designed to make it easy and safe to move the speaker, even though it weighs 25 kg (55 lbs.), to its final spot in the room.

If any of the items in the package appear to be damaged, do not use it, put it back in the original package and contact your dealer immediately.

Keep your packaging for possible future transport of your system

Unpacking Stand

You will need to assemble the speaker stand following the instructions provided in the drawings.

The fully assembled speaker stand should resemble the illustrations shown:

omnee

1. Open the cardboard box widely and carefully remove each component one by one.

2. Set the omnee.m Speaker stand legs in an upright position on the floor, ensuring that the wider side is at the bottom. Place the legs with a separation of around 120 degrees between them. This is similar to dividing a complete circle (360 degrees) into three equal parts.

3. Ensure that the bolts are inserted through the center holes on each of the three sides of the stand top plate.
Identify the top side by locating the side where the bolt insertion holes are slightly inward.
Once the bolts are inserted and tightened, verify that they are leveled with the top surface. This confirms the correct orientation of the assembly.

omnee

4. Position the stand's top plate onto the stand legs and insert the first bolt completely without tightening it.

5. Insert the second bolt, and if needed, gently apply force to align the metal leg with the insertion hole. Screw the bolt all the way in without fully tightening it.

6. Repeat the process described in step 5 for the third bolt.

7. Once all bolts are inserted, proceed to tighten them securely.

8. Tighten the side bolts of the stand until they feel sufficiently firm.

Please follow these steps carefully to ensure the proper assembly.

Unpacking Speaker

The speaker comes in a transport case that includes both cardboard protection and a custom wood case. It is strongly advised to retain this case, as it could prove invaluable for potential future transportation needs.

Due to the substantial weight and its surface can be slippery, we suggest that two individuals assist in the unpacking and positioning process.

For unpacking, please follow the instructions described below and as shown in the drawings below:

omnee

1. Remove cardboard protection box by lifting it upward.

omnee

2. Unscrew all four locking screws of the wooden case cover while the speaker/case is in a vertical upright position.

omnee

3. Carefully lift and remove the cover from the speaker/case.

omnee

4. Lift the speaker and remove it from the case by holding it to designated positions (Port flares) and place it in the desired position.

Installing Speaker on the Stand

Once you have assembled the stand and determined the final position for the speaker, it's time to place the speaker onto the stand.

Carefully position the speaker at the center of the stand. Align and insert the speaker legs into the stand holes, one side of the speaker at a time.

omnee

Make sure that the rubber feet of the speaker are aligned and inserted correctly into the designated stand top holes.

Once they are positioned accurately, the speaker should firmly sit on the stand base.

omnee

If you intend to make a slight adjustment to the speaker's position, you can hold the stand along with the speaker and move them together. However, if you plan to move the speaker to a more distant location, it's advisable to first place the speaker on the floor, reposition the stand, and then install the speaker onto the stand.

Speaker Placement

ONE.618 is committed to crafting speakers that serve as near-perfect sound sources, embodying the concept of a point source. Our goal is to create sound fields that exude naturalness and boast an expansive, well-balanced reproduction of frequencies.

Unlike most conventional loudspeakers, the omnee.m is meticulously tuned to deliver peak performance, irrespective of its placement within your listening environment. This exceptional quality allows the omnee.m to effortlessly adapt to various placement scenarios.
The omnee.m excels in any room size, ensuring flawless audio reproduction whether you're situated in close proximity to the speakers or positioned at a distance from them. Its adaptability knows no bounds – it's an affirmation that wherever it finds itself, it's in the right spot."

However, if you're looking to fully unleash the omnee.m's potential, adhering to our recommendations will enhance your experience:

Positioning: Start by identifying the center or optimal listening zone in your room. This will serve as the prime location for your omnee.m speaker.

Distance from Walls: Position the speaker at a minimum distance of 2 meters away from walls or obstructions. This strategic placement minimizes reflections and facilitates a balanced sound dispersion. This contributes significantly to accurate tonal qualities, lifelike sound imaging, focus, and dynamic range.

Height: Set the speaker at or slightly above ear level when seated. This ensures unimpeded sound travel to your ears, optimizing the dispersion pattern while minimizing reflections from the floor and ceiling. Utilizing an omnee.m speaker stand is recommended.

Speaker Orientation: Unlike conventional speakers, the omnee.m boasts a 360-degree sound dispersion, rendering the concept of specific speaker orientation irrelevant when optimizing your audio setup.

Equal Spacing: In scenarios with multiple omnidirectional speakers, arrange them equidistantly around the room. This practice preserves a uniform sound distribution, fostering a harmonious auditory experience.

Room Acoustics: Pay attention to your room's acoustic attributes. Incorporating soft furnishings, carpets, and curtains can diminish reflections and enhance overall sound quality.

NOTES:

Remember, your omnee.m speaker is designed to be forgiving of less-than-ideal placement scenarios.

Feel free to experiment with positioning to find the arrangement that best suits your preferences and space.

Keep these guidelines in mind to optimize your omnee.m experience, and relish in the remarkable audio journey it offers.

DSP - Digital Signal Processing

The omnee.m speaker is equipped with a DSP (Digital Signal Processing) unit responsible for audio signal processing before amplification. This unit is programmed to adapt to the music volume, acknowledging that human ears perceive lower (bass) and higher (treble) tones less at lower volumes. Consequently, the response curve is adjusted based on volume levels. Additionally, it reduces bass at higher volumes to protect the speaker driver from potential damage.

ONE.618 offers three preprogrammed settings:

To access these DSP settings, press and hold the PRESET 1, PRESET 2, or PRESET 3 buttons on your remote control for 3 seconds. Pressing FLAT for 3 seconds resets the DSP to the FLAT setting.

Furthermore, you can activate DEEP BASS using your IR remote control to amplify the bass response further by introducing harmonics in the bass range.

You can also independently adjust Bass or Treble using the remote control. Pressing the FLAT button on the remote control turns off these adjustments.

omnee.m remembers the last settings, even when turned off.

Powering On & Off

The Main Power Switch is located at the center of the Connection Panel on the rear part of the Base. Press the button to turn your speaker On or Off. The switch is illuminated when the power is on.

If you are using the speaker for the first time or the battery power is critically low, it's necessary to connect your speaker to power first and then turn it On after a few seconds.

It's recommended to turn off the speaker if it won't be in use for an extended period. This practice helps maximize your battery life. Also, make sure to power off your speaker when transporting it.

After powering On, the ONE.618 omnee.m speaker becomes operational when the rapid blinking of the Mode LED on the Base, positioned next to the Mode Button, stops. The startup sequence typically takes around 20 seconds to complete.

Additionally, the Mode LED status is reflected by the illumination on the Spacer, but only if the illumination feature hasn't been turned off.

An audible voice announcement informs about the network connection status, signaling successful establishment or any issues (if the omnee.m volume isn't at its minimum).

WARNING! It's important to note that software updates can begin automatically once an internet connection is established. The initiation and completion of updates are announced by voice and can also be tracked in the App.

During updates, which may take several minutes, do not power off or disconnect your speaker.

Light Switch

Enclosure Illumination Touch Button:

This touch-sensitive area on the front center of the omnee.m enclosure controls the speaker's illumination. Passing your hand over the speaker's front surface changes the color.

With 16 color combinations and a light-off mode, you can personalize the illumination to your preference, along with a light-off mode. You can customize the illumination color to match your mood.

The IR remote control enables you to easily turn the omnee.m illumination On and Off.

Base Touch Interface

    Key Power Supply Tips:

    • Use Provided Accessories: Rely on the accessories provided with your omnee.m speaker. Third-party accessories can lead to complications or damage. Make sure to use the provided power adapter that matches the specifications mentioned in the user manual: 24V, minimum 4A, 5.5/2.2mm jack with inside pin - pole.
    • Check Power Source Compatibility: Confirm that your power source aligns with the speaker's voltage and frequency requirements. Incompatible voltage or frequency can harm performance.
    • Mind Power Cord Placement: Place power cords thoughtfully to avoid tripping hazards or cord damage.
    • Prepare for Power Outages: During power outages, safeguard your speaker by unplugging it to avoid potential surges during power restoration.

Addressing Spark Phenomenon: When connecting the wall power adapter to the speaker using the magnetic charging connector, you might notice a slight spark. This is due to the relatively higher yet safe 24V DC voltage. If the connector is dirty, the spark might be more apparent. Understand that this occurrence isn't hazardous. To minimize sparks, connect the plug to the speaker first, then attach the adapter to the wall outlet. This sequence can help prevent the spark during the connection process.

By following these guidelines and using the recommended power supply methods, you can ensure that your omnee.m speaker operates reliably and efficiently, providing you with an optimal audio experience. If you have specific power-related questions about your model, refer to the user manual or contact customer support for assistance.

    Battery & Charging

Certain omnee.m models feature built-in rechargeable batteries, providing freedom from constant power outlets. This is especially advantageous for outdoor scenarios and when mobility is essential.

    Charging Guidelines and Battery Health:

For omnee.m speakers with built-in batteries, follow the manufacturer's charging recommendations. Regular usage and charging prevent prolonged inactivity, preserving battery performance over time. During initial use, fully charge the battery for optimal results.

    Charging Times and Factors:

Charging times vary based on battery level, environment, and charger output. Charging usually takes 1 to 3 hours. Higher battery levels and powerful chargers speed up the process. Individual usage may cause slight variations.
